BC Organic White Rntz Cannabis Cultivar Review
Rubicon continues to uphold their commitment to fresh, organic and non-irradiated cannabis. This is cannabis of such high quality that they produce it on the biggest scale possible. Although their brands are excellent at smoking, their premium brands, Simply Bare, have the best genetics and highest production.
The Cookies Fam, a California-based family that first partnered with Runtz to create this strain, brought it to our attention. This strain has identical genetics to the original by crossing Zkittles and Gelato. However, the trademark issue means that it is referred to as a modified version. Although the SKU was out for some time, we decided to keep it for their most tested lot, which is 27.5%.
The pungent scent of candied limes, earthy funk and stones wafts from the crackling of the jar. Its sweet name makes perfect sense. However, it doesn’t forget about its diverse terp profiles. The total amount is over 4 percent, but it contains less than.5% other than limonene (which tests at.73%). It was just plain awful. This is the same as my review of their Gelato Cake. The perfectly fresh, terpy buds made for a wonderful smoke.
It is quite strong in taste. The sweet notes of citrus are evident, but the inhale is dominated by earthy tones that linger on the exhale. Combining the Zkittles genes and terps creates a high that, compared to regular smokers feels like sativa. Although there is some pressure in the eyes it can be very physical energizing. This is a great way to go on a hike. You will feel energized and in a relaxed state. Anything mental was a problem for me. It was difficult to concentrate on anything but a document. This is all I need on a single day, but it must be far from my work stress.
It’s easy to see how this strain is so popular down South. This bud is well worth the hype, even without Berner’s brilliant branding. It’s candy-sweet with Zkittles and Gelato, and the other flavors and effects combine the best of both. Here’s a tasty alternative if you are looking for the puncher that delivers Carmel’s Animal Face-like high.
