Mission Direct is a registered Christian charity no. 1107824.
Nothing is taken for administration and 25% gift aid is added from
the government. It's purpose is to empower and protect young people
in Zambia. We are a group of friends, living in Peyia Paphos, who
over the past few years, have raised money to help children and
young people in some of the poorest areas of Zambia.
 We work with
Mission Direct, a Christian charity based in the UK. Every year,
Mission Direct takes hundreds of volunteers overseas, where they
make a practical and life changing difference to the lives of some of
the world's poorest. Our group focuses on Mission Direct's work in
Zambia, and we have raised about €5,000 over the last few years,
through coffee mornings, charity lunches, cooking classes, sponsored
walks etc. We support eleven children through school, have helped
set up a hairdressing salon for girls taken off the street, provided beds
in a boys refuge, helped furnish an extended girls refuge and a
classroom in a school run by the charity in addition to supporting
many individuals. All funds raised are used to continue to support
these organisations and other projects in Zambia. Three of our group
have now visited the projects, and have made decisions
about where every cent of the money raised, is spent.

Soprano Tina Chester is from North West England, where she
studied classical and modern music techniques. As well as success at
music festivals, Tina has performed at weddings, corporate functions,
in operatic and theatre productions and concerts. Her performances
are usually a fusion of operatic arias, classical cross-over, ballads and
music from the shows. Her main influences have been sopranos
Natalie Dessay Smi Jo and cross-over singers such as Katherine
Jenkins and Sarah Brightman.
Thomas Tang, piano, studied at music college in China from
2010 – 2014 and in Australia from 2014 – 2015. He taught piano in
China before relocating to Cyprus in 2016. Thomas studied music
from the age of seven in China. He likes to play classical music
