Newport Kush Cannabis Cultivar (Strain) Review

Winner of @thenewyorkgrowerscup @odeetrees is a NY cultivator specialize in providing that unique, exclusive NY Gas. The Newport Kush is my first review for @odeetrees. The Newport Kush is made up of First Class Kush (Kkv1) and The Menthol( Gelato45 x White Diesel x High Octane x Jetfuel Gelato). First class Kush was created by @f1rstclassgas using the Khalifa Kush. The buds were medium sized, fluffy and light. Colors of the calyx are a light green, with a hint of mint. The leaves and carrot pistils have a color similar to almond flour. Pinene is present in the scent, which has a slight and dank smell. Earthy soil aroma, with menthol and spicy caryophyllene. On the palate I tasted the first-class Kush, which reminded me of Khalifa Kush. The Menthol also had a licorice sweetness and peppermint flavor. It is a medium cerebral high with an immediate start. Around 7-8 draws in, the buzz begins. The full effect is felt around half way through the session. Smoking experience could be improved. Inhalation starts out smooth, but becomes a little harsher on exhalation . The salt and pepper ratio was 70/30 at the beginning of the session, but it changed to 50/50 by half. This cultivar is known for its mind-blowing high, followed by an euphoric body high. Also, I experience chest lock and eyes low syndrome. Newport Kush is a hybrid that has both ups and downs. Highlights include the aroma, appeal and effects. I don’t like the taste of this product due to its smoke. It is the spicy exhale that leads to a harsh backend. Changes in the taste and ash from the beginning are things that you can do to improve the next time. The Kush experience is still great for a NY Minute. — Newport Kush – 3.5/5
