In this encounter there is a union of the personal ways of approaching music, the influences and idioms that swing between Arab tradition, the Byzantine art of chanting, jazz and Soufi traditions, thus colouring, with sensitivity and musicality, original and traditional compositions which follow one another in complete balance.

Yiannis Koutis: artistic director, oud, fretless guitar, vocals
Alkis Agathokleous: ney
Nikolas Tryphonos: contrabass
Rodos Panagiotou: percussion instruments.

Cypriot Kaleidoscope is part of a series of events which celebrate the musical traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean and its neighbouring countries, as well as their impact on contemporary music.
