The Russian pianist Tatiana Stupak returns to Technopolis 20 with a different programme this time for solo piano, on Friday, May 27 at 8pm.

The programme will also include arias from several operas and a selection of other well-known songs, with the Cypriot tenor Marios Charalambous in voice.

The programme, among others will incude works by Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Chopin, Verdi, Prokofiev, Puccini and Liszt.

Tatiana Stupak
Tatiana Stupak was born in 1986 in St. Petersburg, Russia, and started playing the piano at the age of five. She studied at the Conservatory music college where she received numerous competition prizes and graduated with Performer's Diploma. She continued her studies at the The Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory, initially with Professor Leonid Sintsev, a student of S. I. Savshinskiy. Tatiana has performed as a soloist in Russia, Austria, Germany and most recently in Cyprus, where she has been living since 2007.

Marios Charalambous
Marios Charalambous was born in Limassol, Cyprus. He has been taught Byzantine chant music by Protopsaltis Nicos Papassavas and has received training in classical singing by the soprano Sona Gargaloyan. He has also attended opera master classes by the world renowned tenor Agim Hushi. In 2004 Marios was awarded the Certificate of Byzantine Music with Distinction from the Byzantine Music School of the Sacred Archdiocese of Crete, and in 2005 he was awarded the Certificate in Voice Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Marios has performed a wide variety of songs from the Classical and Greek traditional repertoire at several festivals and concerts in Cyprus and abroad. In 2007 he was awarded the 3rd Prize at the 34th Pan-Hellenic Music and Song Contest held in Laggadia, Greece. Recently he has been a member of the Vocal Quartet Avanti 4, with which he performed last year in St. Petersburg as well as in several concerts in Cyprus.
