For the seventh consecutive year, Pegeia organizes the celebrations of the carob tree, aiming to promote the culture and culture of the locality both to local and foreign visitors.
According to Lambros Theodosiou on behalf of the football team "Peyia 2014", which organizes the festival in collaboration with D. Pegeia, the event is organized for the seventh consecutive year with the aim of spreading the tradition of Peyia.
According to Mr. Theodosiou, the celebration of the carob tree, which will take place on 7 September at 19:30 in the square of Agios Georgios Pegeias, where traditional buns of carrots and other traditional products will be produced, attracts the interest of many people .
The event will also present the preparation of Zivania, Cypriot traditional dishes, pastas, anise with carob, rose and various other traditional dishes such as trachana, rosemary and more.
