Students from various countries who attend the department of Hotel and Culinary Arts of Pafos’ Technical School will exchange recipes and experiences from their country of origin, narrating their personal stories and journeys. The event will be photographed to record the proximity of our cuisines as well as our cultural particularities. The event will naturally refer to current developments of culinary diversity through migration and refugees. Starting in November 2016, material will be assembled and the students will get to meet up-and-coming as well as well-established and famous chefs for interaction and cultural dialogue. The chefs will also meet with the audience. The project, curated by Stephanos Eleftheriou, will feature a photographic exhibition around the Master Table of Tastes. A cookbook will be published with the outcomes and creations of this culinary multicultural project.
