As part of the Cine Attikon programme and the Russian Film Week, three films from Russia will be premiered in the presence of the famous actors Valentina Telichkina and Yuriy Nifontov, and director Karen Shakhnazarov, who will discuss with the audience.

Anna Karenina – Vronsky’s Story (2017, 138’)
Is there really a single truth in love and in everybody’s choices? Anna Karenina chose a tragic path, abandoning her family and her son Sergei for the sake of Count Vronsky. 30 years later the two rivals, Sergei Karenin and Alexei Vronsky, meet during the Russo-Japanese war in a remote Manchurian village and attempt to find the answers that both of them have long been seeking for.

The film will be presented by Karen Shakhnazarov.
