Akamas Project – Α Tribute to the poet Tefkros Anthias
The poetry event dedicated to the memory of Tefkros Anthias, is taking place in collaboration with G/C and T/C poets and artists in Antrolikou village, where the poet was exiled by the British, 1932-1933.
The event starts with a presentation-analysis of the work of the poet Tefkros Anthias by the Professors Andreas Sophocleous and Floya Anthia, the poet’s daughter.
Participating artists: Cypriot poets Gurgenc Korkmazel, Andreas Petrides, Jenan Selçuk and Athena Charalambides.
The poetry readings will be followed by an interactive performance "We are calling you", starting from the school and ending to the ruined house where the poet lived. It includes poetry, movement/dance and projections.
