The Countryside Animafest Cyprus — Views of the World, the UNESCO’s International organisation for animation ASIFA and the Hambis Printmaking Museum announce the organisation of the 15th Countryside Animafest Cyprus- Views of the world. This year, the festival celebrates 15 years of presence and promises a rich program of screenings, workshops, exhibitions and seminars, meeting the public's expectations that surrounds the festival with love every year.

A selection of the best films of independent cinema animation from all around the world will be screened in the Cyprus and International Competition Programme of the festival. Additionally, the festival will include presentation of exhibitions and workshops (masterclasses) from notable international animators, tributes, concerts and children's animation film screenings, in four different locations: the ancient site of Palaipafos Kouklia, the Hambis Printmaking Museum, the cultural centre Technopolis 20 in Pafos and TEPAK in Limassol.

During the festival, a children’s film program will take place at Technopolis 20 for a second time, on Tuesday, July the 19th, where families and children will enjoy films that soon will be announced. Additionally, a Claymation workshop for children will take place by the cartoon artist Panagiota Michael. The children will have the opportunity to gain information and create their own characters and objects with clay-plasticine, which will then be photographed and filmed in stop-motion video in order to create a small sample of film.
